Overview

Data Source is MuleRun’s integrated third-party professional data API capability, enabling Super Agent to call high-quality, structured external data when executing tasks, elevating task outputs from “basically usable” to “professional-grade.” Three major categories of data sources are currently integrated:
  • Financial Market Data: Covers A-shares, Hong Kong stocks, US stocks, global indices, forex, futures, cryptocurrencies, macroeconomics, technical analysis, etc. Available to all users.
  • E-commerce Data: Covers Amazon and TikTok Shop e-commerce analytics data. Available only to Individual Paid, Team, and Enterprise users.
  • Social Media Sentiment: Covers Twitter/X and Reddit sentiment analysis. Available only to Individual Paid, Team, and Enterprise users.
The core value comes from three design principles.
  • Professional Data Empowerment: AI no longer relies solely on public web information, but obtains structured information such as stock quotes, on-chain metrics, macroeconomic series, derivatives data, and e-commerce sales data through professional APIs.
  • Seamless Integration: All data sources are automatically integrated, with Agent automatically matching and invoking them—no manual configuration required.
  • High-Availability Design: Critical data needs are designed with multi-level fallback mechanisms. When a single source fails, automatic switching ensures data availability.

Quick Start

  1. Open MuleRun and enter the Super Agent chat interface.
  2. Enter a task that requires professional data, e.g., “Help me analyze the difference between Apple’s latest quarterly EPS and market expectations, and analyze the 5-year P/E trend.”
  3. Super Agent automatically recognizes that the task requires financial data and matches the corresponding data capability.
  4. The system calls the relevant data API and displays the data retrieval process in the chat interface.
  5. View results—a professional analysis report based on real data.
Upon completion, you should see professional analysis results containing specific numbers and chart descriptions. Financial market data is available to all users; e-commerce data and social media sentiment data require Plus+ membership.

Use Data Sources Directly via Chat The workflow is fully automated—just chat naturally:   1. Enter your task in Super Agent. The Agent performs automatic semantic matching against available data capabilities.   2. Agent identifies the matching data capability and automatically extracts key parameters from your task (e.g., stock code, time range).   3. If required parameters are missing, the Agent will ask you once for the missing detail before proceeding.   4. Agent calls the corresponding data API and returns structured data results. Multiple independent APIs may be called in parallel when needed. Data Call Permission Mechanism: Permission behavior depends on the data type and your plan:
  • Financial Market Data — All users get a normal call and full data returned. All financial data is free.
  • E-commerce Data
    - Free users: Downgraded to public data + Soft Hint upgrade prompt.     - Individual Paid / Team / Enterprise users: Normal call → returns data + Credits deducted on success.
  • Social Media Sentiment
    - Free users: Downgraded to public data + Soft Hint upgrade prompt.     - Individual Paid / Team / Enterprise users: Normal call → returns data + Credits deducted on success. Credits Consumption Rules
  • Credits Balance — Deducted in real time on each API call. When the balance is insufficient, execution is interrupted and you’ll see a top-up prompt.
  • API Call Pricing — Each API is priced independently. You can view the total actual consumption after the task completes.
  • Charging Timing — Only successful calls are charged; failures are free. Network timeouts or API errors incur no cost.

FAQs

Q: Which data sources can free users access? A: Free users can access all financial market data, including A-share/HK stock quotes, US stocks/ETFs, global indices and futures, cryptocurrency spot and derivatives, macroeconomic data, forex rates, technical analysis indicators, and more. E-commerce data (Amazon/TikTok Shop) and social media sentiment data (Twitter/X, Reddit) are only available to Individual Paid, Team, and Enterprise members. Q: Will Credits be deducted if a paid data API call fails? A: No. Credits are deducted only when an API call succeeds and returns valid data. Failures caused by network timeouts, API errors, or permission issues incur no cost. Q: What’s the difference between Data Source and Web Search? A: Web Search searches public web information; results may lack precision or timeliness. Data Source calls professional data APIs, providing structured, precise data (e.g., stock prices accurate to the minute, standardized financial statements, derivatives data with positions, precise e-commerce sales and creator marketing data). When data APIs are unavailable, the system automatically falls back to Web Search as a safety net.
