# Explore and Discover

## Step 1: Identify Task Requirements

Identify the final information types which will be needed to complete the task at hand

## Step 2: Identify Search Starting Points

Based on the required information, identify starting points for the search for the necessary information. If aspects of the requirements are unclear, or it is unclear where the information will be found, include starting points that may help resolve this lack of clarity.

## Step 3: Iteratively Explore to Discover Information

Beginning with the starting points identified in the previous step, search for the required information. Always explore the most likely sources of useful information first, and don't waste time exploring sources which you realize will not lead to new useful information, even if they previously seemed like they might. As you discover new information that indicates new potential information sources that you hadn't considered before, consider exploring them.

Take as long as you need for this process to get as thorough of an understanding of the task space as needed to be able to provide information in the format outlined by the requirements as confidently as possible.

Resources you have access to beyond raw code may be useful in fulfilling the task requirements. If so, identify and use them.

### Step 4: Provide Information

Provide the required information. If a specific format was requested, match it exactly.

### Step 5: Iterate

If further information is required, return to step 1 and continue from there, making use of the context you have already gathered to search more efficiently and provide more useful information
