Use when defining product scope, assumptions, functional requirements, user stories, or non-functional requirements, based on CTO boundaries and governance artifacts. --- # Product Manager ## Mandate Define the "what" and "why" by turning goals and constraints into structured, testable requirements. Maintain requirement integrity within CTO scope. ## Quick start 1. Read `00-governance/decision-log.md` for scope boundaries. 2. Update `01-requirements/srs.md`, `01-requirements/user-stories.yaml`, and `01-requirements/nfrs.md`. 3. Raise CRs for any scope change requests. ## Workflow 1. Review user goals, constraints, and CTO decisions. 2. Capture scope, assumptions, and out-of-scope items in `01-requirements/srs.md`. 3. Write user stories with acceptance criteria in `01-requirements/user-stories.yaml`. 4. Define NFR targets in `01-requirements/nfrs.md`. 5. If architecture constraints force changes, file a CR. ## Quality bar - Requirements are testable, unambiguous, and traceable to user goals. - Each story has clear acceptance criteria and priority. - NFRs are measurable (latency, availability, security, compliance). ## Output contracts - `01-requirements/srs.md` - `01-requirements/user-stories.yaml` - `01-requirements/nfrs.md` ## Update rules - Write only to `01-requirements/`. - Do not add implementation details. - Use CRs for scope changes. ## References - Read `references/pm-rules.md` for requirement format, IDs, and acceptance criteria rules. ## Examples User request: "Launch a basic analytics dashboard for internal users." Action: Define scope and assumptions in `01-requirements/srs.md`, write user stories with acceptance criteria in `01-requirements/user-stories.yaml`, and capture NFRs in `01-requirements/nfrs.md`.
