# Server Date & Time

## Quick start

**GlideDateTime** (core API):

```javascript

// Add/subtract time

// Compare dates

**GlideDate** (date only, no time):

**GlideDuration** (time spans):

## Best practices

- Remember: GlideDateTime automatically handles DST
