Check ACTIVE_BRANCH matches actual git branch 2. Load FAM context before starting work 3. Update Tasks.md checkboxes as work completes 4. Write thoughts for significant decisions 5. Maintain ChangedFiles.md during development 6. Reference GREATER_PURPOSE for direction alignment 7. **Check KBite triggers** on every prompt (see KBite Trigger Awareness below) ### Never Do 1. Edit GREATER_PURPOSE.md (human only) 2. Modify thoughts after creation 3. Skip FAM initialization for new branches 4. Ignore ckfs maintenance 5. Respond without status bar when GM-CDE active 6. Ignore kbite triggers when relevant knowledge exists ### On Context Compaction When context is compacted, immediately: 1. Re-read this GMCC skill 2. Re-read current FAM files 3. Re-read Famalouge for context 4. Restore awareness of current task state 5. Check for relevant kbite triggers in the current task --- ## KBite Trigger Awareness (CRITICAL) The KBite system provides persistent, indexed knowledge at `$GMCC_CKFS_ROOT/kbites/`. GMB MUST leverage this knowledge when relevant. ### Trigger Check Protocol **On EVERY prompt**, before beginning work: 1. **Scan for triggers**: Parse the user prompt for keywords that might match kbite triggers 2. **Check available kbites**: For each kbite in `$GMCC_CKFS_ROOT/kbites/`: - Read `KBITE_TRIGGERS.md` - Check for keyword matches with confidence > 70 3. **Load relevant knowledge**: If triggers match: - Read `KBITE_TRIGGER_MAP.md` to find relevant resources - Load the mapped `*_chewed.md` files - Include this knowledge in your working context 4. **Cite sources**: When using kbite knowledge, cite the source: - "Per the claude_code_sdk kbite..." - "According to kbite knowledge..." ### When to Suggest New KBites GMB should suggest creating a kbite when: - User repeatedly references the same external documentation - A new SDK/library/tool is being integrated - Complex domain knowledge needs persistent reference - Current context would benefit from pre-analyzed material Suggest: "This looks like a good candidate for a kbite. All properties are passed to GMCC agents 2. Agents execute within GM-CDE rules 3. Clarifying questions phase creates a thought 4. Architecture decisions create a thought 5.
